• Trick training provides physical and mental challenges for your dog but it also does much more.
• Trick training builds relationships by deepening communication pathways. 
• It offers a way to bond with your dog as you strive toward common goals and delight in your successes. 
• The trust and cooperative spirit developed through this process will last a lifetime.
• In this one-day workshop, we will demonstrate and explain the specific steps to teaching up to ten dog tricks (spin, fetch, wipe your paws, shake hands, roll over, shell game, hoop jump, and more). 
• You can collaborate with us beforehand in deciding which tricks and games you would like included in the workshop!  
• Just as importantly, the attendees will learn the tools and the strategies to teaching ANY behaviour.
  
• The workshop/seminar can include both working dog and auditor spots.

*The learning cycle: Antecedent, Behaviour, Consequence (cue, action, reinforce).
*Criteria: How and when to raise or lower criteria to elicit errorless learning.
*Methods: The best methods for eliciting a behaviour: luring, capturing, shaping, adduction, mimicry. Targeting - how to correctly use a target stick/hand target.
